Barcelondon

wow, the last two weeks have been rather exciting since i first went on an incentive trip to barcelona and a few days later to my friend john buckmann´s b-day to london. actually we stayed in some little georgious hotels in catalunja, playing golf (i had a go and totally screwed up…) and going on a hot air ballon ride over the volcanoes of the pyrenees. unfortunately we had very little time to enjoy the pools and rest in our lovely hotel rooms since the organizers had done everything to pack up our schedule with most exciting things and trying to get us drunk (didn´t take much effort;-)

london i really love and my girlfriend carmen is really one of the sweetest girls i ever met.We partied in a restaurant called moti mahal and it was actually india´s prime minister´s ex chef who cooked us a sort of state dinner, absolutely yummy, 6 or seven couses i think. in the end there wasn´t any champagne left either, what a nice party crowd we are….

What was actually funny about the event was the fact that the guys were just allowed to wait on tables and to play the music…, they looked a bit intimidated.

Female trouble

Yesterday i was invited to a faboulous event at the “Pinakothek der Moderne”, kind of Munich´s MOMA. The event was hosted by german mega publishing company Hubert Burda, they do all kinds of get togethers for females in the fields of art, culture, media and fashion. While the other girls were listening to the speeches downstairs i sneaked up the stairs and enjoyed a wonderful private tour.

Most impressive i found the work of Cindy Sherman, Sarah Lucas, Pipilotti Rist and
Birgit Jürgenssen.
Apperently photography was the first art form accessible to females since women were not allowed to conservatories etc. back in the 19th century, so the ones with appropriate background started of expressing themselves like the Comtesse de Castiglione.With Pierre Lois Piesson`s help, she was her own photographer back in 1856.

Turkish Moustache

Yay, the video for “senin senin”, my semi turkish song has been edited, i just love it!!!!

It is actually a remix version of the album version that inspired us to do something funny and sexy at the same time. We shot it in a brothel a while ago and i am NOT the dancer in the video…

Today was my last day, i will fly back tomorrow lunch time.

There is so much i will miss,

the music, the art , the people, the food, yoyo´s fire escape (my balcony), central park, uptown, downtown…

Streetlife

I just love it, anywhere you go is music and all different cultures do respect each other.

The festival perioud has not even begun, obviously the people in this city are crazy about live music. Wonderful!

Pat

Brooklyn is a cool place but the coolest thing about Brooklyn is definetely Pat. She is such a talented, funny young woman, absolutely hilarious. Her friend Brixx, a quite known german R&B artist was visiting, too, she is participating in most of the vids. Amazing young girls, what can i say…
